Prigogine had threatened a coup
Earlier on Saturday, Yevgeny Prigogine, Chief of Wagner Group had said in clear words that Russia is going to get a new President soon. Even before this, he had criticized Russia on many occasions but this was the first time when he was threatened by clearly taking Putin’s name. At the same time, Putin had said that Prigogine had stabbed him in the back. In such a situation, he will not be spared.
The President of Belarus got the agreement done
Now news is coming that with the help of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, an agreement has been reached between the Wagner Group and the Russian government and the Wagner Group fighters have turned back to Ukraine. If reports are to be believed, Lukashenko spoke to Wagner Group Chief Yevgeny Prigogine and requested him to stop the attack on Russia.
After this, an agreement was reached between the Russian government and the Wagner army, after which the army has now started returning from Moscow. Earlier, in view of the rebellion of Wagner Group, emergency was implemented in Moscow and people were asked to stay in their homes. Along with this, Monday was also declared as non-working day.
