Protests against the release of former Prime Minister Imran Khan have now started in Pakistan. On Monday, the supporters of the ruling PDM have come on the road and are protesting in front of the Supreme Court in Islamabad regarding the release of Imran. Describing the arrest of the former PM as illegal, the Supreme Court had ordered his release.
PDM workers have also been seen trying to enter the Supreme Court by jumping over the main gate. During the protest, people were also seen raising slogans against Imran Khan. The PDM believes that the Supreme Court has provided an ‘undue facility’ by ordering the release of Imran Khan.
The PDM had announced to protest in front of the Supreme Court on Sunday itself. After this two rounds of meeting of PDM chief Maulana Fazal with Shahbaz Sharif government was also held but did not agree to change the venue. After which the demonstration started today at the pre-decided place.

Pakistani Rangers arrested Imran Khan on Tuesday when he was leaving the Islamabad High Court. PTI supporters of Imran Khan’s arrest took to the streets and violent demonstrations were witnessed across the country for three days. Army officer’s house was burnt in Islamabad. There were also reports of death of many people in the demonstration.

Many videos and photos of PDM’s performance are also going viral on social media. In the video, a large number of PDM workers are seen protesting in front of the Supreme Court with flags in their hands. Some workers are also seen trying to enter inside by hanging over the main gate of the Supreme Court.
Many Pakistani users on social media have also questioned the police of Islamabad. Users said that the police should stop this demonstration, but they are providing security to them.
