Situation worsened due to flood in New York
New York City Flood: The condition of America’s New York City is bad due to floods. Due to this, emergency has been imposed here. Roads are looking like ponds due to floods caused by heavy rains. Water has entered people’s homes. People are trapped in their cars on the road. Many areas are submerged. Only water is visible all around. People have been advised to exercise caution. Travel advisory has been issued.
People have been prohibited from traveling anywhere. The situation of the city is very serious due to heavy rains and floods. Metro service was stopped. Roads and highways were flooded. The subway system has been stopped. Many flights at LaGuardia Airport were delayed due to flooding. More than 5 inches (13 cm) of rain fell in some areas. It was told that up to seven inches of rainfall may occur in the city.

Governor declared state emergency
New York Governor Kathy Hochul declared a state emergency. Hochul said that some parts of the city received 13 cm rainfall overnight and there is a possibility of 18 cm rainfall during the day. However, officials said that there is no information about any casualty due to rain and flood. Due to flood and rain the entire traffic has come to a standstill.
I am declaring a State of Emergency across New York City, Long Island, and the Hudson Valley due to the extreme rainfall were seeing throughout the region.

A woman named Priscilla Fontellio said she was trapped in her car for three hours. Fontelli said he had never seen anything like this in his life.
