Quad Summit 2023: A meeting of the heads of state of the Quad countries was held in Hiroshima, Japan today. In this meeting, all the Quad countries including India gave a strong message to Pakistan without naming it. The Quad countries condemned cross-border terrorism and violence in the meeting. The Quad Heads of State said that we condemn cross-border terrorist activities and violent extremism. All countries said in one voice that we are committed to cooperate with each other against terrorism.
The Quad heads of state said that we will work together with our partners to prevent and detect threats such as terrorism. We are determined to respond to terrorist activities taking place from across the border. All the countries of the Quad will also decide the accountability of the terrorist attacks.
The Quad Heads of State condemned all terrorist attacks in India, including major attacks like Mumbai 26/11 and Pathankot. Everyone said that in March 2023 this year, a meeting of the Quad Foreign Ministers took place. During this, a new working group against terrorism was announced. Now through this we all will strengthen our cooperation further.
