Russia has put British prosecutor (public prosecutor) Karim Khan on its wanted list in the Hague-based International Criminal Court (ICC) court. This step has been taken by Russia after the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court against Russian President Vladimir Putin. Khan’s uploaded photo on the website of the Ministry of the Interior of Russia has been labeled Vantel.
This claim has been made in the report of Politico, a German-owned newspaper based in the US. Citing Russian media outlets, Politico reported on Friday that the photo of Karim Khan’s Vantel label has also been uploaded to the website of the Russian Interior Ministry.

After issuing an arrest warrant against Putin, Russia opened criminal proceedings in March against Khan and three International Criminal Court judges on the basis of indictments. According to Politico’s report, Khan was accused of a crime against an innocent man by Russia.
The Hague based court had issued an arrest warrant against Putin
In fact, in March this year, the Hague-based International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant against Putin and Russian official Maria Alekseyevna Lvova-Belova in connection with the alleged conspiracy to send Ukrainian minors to Russia. Along with this, the court held Putin responsible for the war going on against Ukraine for more than a year.

Russia attacked Ukraine on 24 February 2022. Since then, the war between the two countries is going on for about 15 months. Due to the war, both the countries have also faced heavy losses.
