- Our aim is to create a Techade. Today India-America also needs a pipeline of talent to maintain the pace of growth. Where on one hand America has high quality educational institutions and technology, on the other hand India has the biggest youth factory in the world. That’s why I believe that the partnership between India and America will prove to be the engine of sustainable and inclusive global growth.
- At the National Science Foundation in Alexandria, Virginia in the US, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that under the Skill India Mission, we have so far skilled 50 million people in the fields of artificial intelligence, blockchain, drones and others.
- I want to share some ideas for mutual cooperation in education and research between India and America. It is necessary that government, industry, academia, teachers and students all be included in this joint effort. We can also think about India-US teacher exchange program.
- We started the GIAN (Global Initiative of Academic Networks) campaign in 2015 to enhance the relationship of scientists and entrepreneurs spread across the world with institutions in India. I am happy to inform that till now 750 faculty members from US have come to India under this.
- I think that both the countries (India-America) should also do hackathon together on different topics and from this we can get solutions to many problems of today. I would like that children from America also come to India under the Student Exchange Program and see and know India.
