Prime Minister Narendra Modi He is in Hiroshima, Japan to participate in the G7 Summit. This year the G7 Summit is being organized in Hiroshima. Leaders of many such countries will reach Hiroshima to participate in this summit. PM Modi reached Hiroshima on Friday after which he met Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida here. PM Modi also unveiled the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Hiroshima.
PM Modi said that this statue will further the idea of non-violence. Apart from this, PM Modi has also expressed happiness over planting the Bodhi tree in Hiroshima. PM Modi presented this tree to Kishida. He said that as this tree grows, the relationship between India and Japan will deepen. After unveiling the statue of Mahatma Gandhi, PM Modi also met the people of the Indian community.

Earlier, during the meeting of PM Modi and Kishida, talks were held between the two leaders on further strengthening the relations between India and Japan on many issues including trade, economy. He congratulated Kishida for the successful chairmanship of the G7 and thanked him for inviting India.
