Pm Modi Meets Egyptian Counterpart
PM Modi Egypt Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently in Egypt. This is his first state visit to Egypt. On Saturday, he met top Egyptian cabinet ministers, including his counterpart Mustafa Madbouli. During this, many issues like trade and investment, renewal energy, green hydrogen, IT, digital payment platform, pharma were discussed. Apart from this, PM Modi emphasized on further deepening India-Egypt relations.
Apart from this, he also discussed about the strength of trade partnership. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi had invited PM Modi to come here. This is the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Egypt in 26 years. In fact, India had invited Egyptian President Al-Sisi as the chief guest on the occasion of 74th Republic Day.

PM Modi’s meeting with Grand Mufti of Egypt Dr. Shawky Ibrahim
On the first day of the tour, Prime Minister Modi met the Grand Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Shawki Ibrahim Abdel-Karim Allam. Apart from this, he also met the members of Pravasi Bharatiya and Bohra community. The origins of the Bohra community in India actually trace back to the Fatima dynasty and they have renovated the mosque since the 1970s. Earlier, PM Modi was warmly welcomed upon his arrival in Egypt.

Prime Minister Modi received guard of honor
Prime Minister Mustafa himself came to the airport to welcome the PM. Prime Minister Modi was also given a guard of honour. This is the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Egypt in the last 26 years. India and Egypt have also celebrated the completion of 75 years of establishment of their diplomatic relations this year. This visit of PM Modi is being considered very important for India’s defense sector.

PM Modi will meet President Al-Sisi today
During his visit to India, President El-Sisi had decided to raise the India-Egypt relationship to the level of strategic partnership. Please tell that Prime Minister Modi will meet President Al-Sisi today. Apart from this, he will visit the Heliopolis Memorial. After that he will go to Hakim Masjid. Apart from this, he will also address the people of the Indian community.
