Narendra Modi In Hiroshima
Prime Minister Narendra Modi G7 Summit is in Hiroshima, Japan to participate. During this he addressed the 6th working session of the conference. PM Modi first congratulated the Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida, for the successful organization of the G-7 Summit. The Prime Minister has given some suggestions for this forum on the subject of Global Food Security. He said that inclusive (inclusive) food system should be created, in which focus should be on the most vulnerable people of the world, especially marginal farmers.
PM Modi says that the global fertilizer supply chain has to be strengthened. The political obstacles in these have to be removed and the expansionist mindset that is occupying the fertilizer resources has to be stopped. This should be the purpose of our cooperation. We can create a new model of natural farming as an alternative to fertilizers around the world. He believes that the benefits of digital technology should be extended to every farmer in the world.
Preventing wastage of food is a collective responsibility – PM Modi
The Prime Minister said in the G-7 that it should be our endeavor to separate organic food from fashion statement and commerce and connect it with nutrition and health. The UN has declared 2023 as the International Millet Year. Millets address the challenges of nutrition, climate change, water conservation and food security all at once. Awareness should be created on this. Preventing food wastage should be a collective responsibility. This is essential for sustainable global food security.

Regarding the era of Corona epidemic, PM Modi said that COVID has challenged the perspective of cooperation and help of humanity. The availability of vaccines and medicines was linked to politics instead of human well-being. It is necessary to introspect on the future form of health security. India is leading in women-led development today – PM Modi
PM Modi said that today the development of women is not a topic of discussion in India, because today we are leading in women-led development. The President of India is a woman who comes from the tribal area. At the grassroots level, 33 percent seats are reserved for women. They are an integral part of our decision making process. We have made a law to ensure the rights of transgender and everyone will be happy to know that there is a railway station in India which is completely run by transgender people. He is confident that today’s discussion will be beneficial in creating an important link between the agenda of the G20 and the G7 and will succeed in prioritizing the hopes and expectations of the Global South.
