Dr. Shawky Ibrahim Allam, Grand Mufti of Egypt calling on Prime Minister Narendra Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to Egypt. Where, PM Modi has met the Grand Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Shawki Ibrahim Allam. Referring to his recent visit to India, the Grand Mufti highlighted the strong ties between the two countries during the meeting with PM Modi. Along with this, he praised the work being done under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to promote pluralism.
Issues related to social and religious harmony and combating extremism and radicalism were discussed during the meeting between PM Modi and the Grand Mufti. The Prime Minister announced that India would set up an IT center in Dar-al-Ifta under the Ministry of Social Justice of Egypt. After the meeting with the Grand Mufti, PM Modi tweeted that we have discussed relations between India and Egypt.

At the same time, the Grand Mufti said that he is honored to meet PM Modi. This was our second meeting. Between the two meetings, I have seen that a lot of development has taken place in India. Wise policies are being adopted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to bring about coexistence among different religious communities in India.
PM Modi also met the people of the Indian community
During his visit to Egypt, PM Modi met members of the Indian community in Cairo. In an interaction with members of the Indian community, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the community for their contribution in strengthening India-Egypt relations. Apart from students, a total of more than 300 NRIs including professionals and businessmen attended the meeting with PM Modi.
PM has reached Egypt after America
PM Modi, who reached Egypt after finishing the US tour, had a meeting with the people of Cairo ‘India Unit’. The India Unit is headed by the Prime Minister of Egypt, His Excellency Mustafa Madboli. Many ministers and senior officers were involved in this. Please tell that PM Modi reached Egypt on the night of 24 June.
