Pakistan’s population increased by four crores
Pakistan Population: People in Pakistan are dependent on food, but there is no control over the population here. The population in the neighboring country is increasing very fast. In the last five years, the population has increased by 3.3 crores. According to the national census, the total population of Pakistan has increased to 246 million. These do not include the figures of PoK and Gilgit-Baltistan. Till last week, 59 lakh people were included in the survey here.
There are 66 districts in different provinces where verification is yet to be done. If we talk on this basis, then in five years, the population of Pakistan has increased by an average of four crores or more. In the 2017 census, the population of Pakistan was estimated at 207 million. PoK and Gilgit Baltistan have been asked to present the final figures soon.

In view of the elections, instructions were given to finish the census by May 15. Even the figures of Islamabad have not been fully collected yet. There are 66 districts in different provinces where the field work is almost complete and verification is pending. Meanwhile, the remaining people can also be counted.
Seven of PoK, four districts of Gilgit Baltistan
33 districts of Punjab, 8 districts of Sindh, 9 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, three districts of Balochistan, seven districts of PoK and four districts of Gilgit Baltistan are included. The census work was extended for two weeks in these districts. The final figure is to be presented today, May 15.
Pakistan’s population will increase further in the coming time
If we look at the Pakistan population growth rate, it is known that since 2017 it is continuously increasing. For example, the population growth rate in 2017 was 1.34 percent, which has now increased to 1.9 percent in 2023. It can be understood from this that the population of Pakistan will increase more rapidly in the coming times.
Punjab is the most populous province of Pakistan
At present, Punjab is the most populous province of Pakistan with 12.12 crores. It is followed by the population of Sindh (56 million), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (39 million), Balochistan (20.8 million) and Islamabad (23 million).
