Pakistan Article 232: Pakistan has been struggling with poor economic condition and inflation for a long time. The violence of May 9 left no stone unturned. Pakistan I have never seen such worst conditions before. On May 9, as soon as paramilitary forces arrested former Prime Minister Imran Khan from the Islamabad High Court premises, riots broke out across Pakistan. There was chaos all around. Civil war broke out in the country. Most of the violence took place in Punjab province and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Now the time has come to implement Emergency here.
Punjab province and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are two such states of Pakistan, where the supporters of Imran Khan’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) committed tremendous violence. At present, internet has been banned in both the states. The great thing is that Imran Khan got bail for two weeks in all cases from the Islamabad High Court. Despite this, PTI has asked its workers to continue the protest. In such a situation, the situation can worsen. If the situation worsens, the only way out will be to impose emergency in both the states.

Article 232 of the Constitution of Pakistan mentions the provision of imposing Emergency.
How is emergency implemented in states?
According to Article 232, Emergency can be imposed if the law and order in a state deteriorates or the situation becomes extremely dangerous. When the State Government sends a proposal to the President to implement the Emergency, then the President consults the Prime Minister and then takes a decision on the Emergency. If the President decides to impose Emergency immediately, then the National Assembly will have to approve it within ten days.
