Agreement with Praia Consultants
A day earlier on Thursday, documents revealed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf USA, a Washington-based lobbying firm, “to improve relations with the Pakistani people in the United States and the US, and bring about change”. Signed an agreement with Praia Consultants LLC.
According to documents filed with the US Justice Department under the Foreign Agents Registration Act, the agreement was signed on February 21 itself. This agreement has been signed between both the parties for six months. PTI USA is based in New York City, USA and is one of the exclusive clients of the lobbying firm which will be paid US$8,333 per month. Its price in Indian rupees is around Rs 6,85,115.
Under the agreement between the two, during the term of the agreement, this company will provide special advice on the good relations of the party with the government and establishments in the United States of America.
Not only this, this company will organize many meetings with many prominent people and organizations making decisions in America. Will also provide many things including material regarding the meetings.
Had signed agreement with Fenton / Arlook last year
Apart from this, this agreement can also be extended for another 6 months i.e. till January 31, 2024. However, this agreement will be extended only if both the parties do not have any objection in this matter and approval will have to be taken by June 30 in this matter.
