Yonhap news agency published a report citing the South Korean military that North Korea fired two medium-range ballistic missiles into the East Sea in December. South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said it detected the launch between 11:13 am and 12:05 pm (local time) from the Tongchang-ri area, North Pyongan province.
According to South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff, the missile was fired at a steep angle and remained in the air for about 500 km. The JCS said intelligence officials in South Korea and the United States are analyzing other information regarding North Korea’s recent missile activities.
