Special postage stamps have been issued by the Royal Mail featuring the head of Britain’s King Charles, seen in a set of popular garden flowers. These will be the first stamps that will be released to the public.
King Charles appeared on a special postage stamp for the first time
New Delhi: King Charles III of Britain will officially take over the throne of Britain in May this year. Before this, King Charles III is seen in a special postage stamp for the first time. Special postage stamps bearing the head of King Charles have been issued by the Royal Mail. In which the silhouettes are seen of a set of popular flowers planted in the garden. These may be the first stamps, which depict the profile of the king. These will be the first stamps to be issued to the public. Let us tell you that since 1968, stamps showing the head of Queen Elizabeth of Britain are being issued. King Charles’ designs would replace them. Please tell that on September 8, Queen Elizabeth of Britain passed away. Now his son Charles has been made the new king of Britain.
Passionate gardener shown to King Charles
The last set of stamps featuring the queen’s head were issued last month. The Royal Mail’s David Gould said the flowers featured in this historic set of stamps for King Charles III suggest the king was a ‘passionate gardener’. The Royal Mail had earlier revealed the design for regular first and second class stamps featuring King Charles. In this, the head of the emperor, the value of the stamp and a barcode were visible. But those stamps will not appear regularly until the stock of existing stamps depicting the late queen’s head is exhausted. It is unlikely that first and second class stamps of King Charles will appear before next month.

10 flowers found place in postage stamp
It is clear from the non-appearance of these stamps that the first change in the stamps for the new regime will be the 10-flower postage stamp. These stamps will feature popular flowers such as rose, dahlia, sunflower and fuchsia, which are seen in gardens. These flower stamps can be ordered from March 14, and they will be issued in general from next week. These new stamps will put an end to the stamps featuring the head of Queen Elizabeth. In fact, the Royal Mail had long-term plans for the Queen’s stamps, but she passed away in September last year. Indeed the last planned set to mark the Flying Scotsman’s centenary was revealed in February. But now on all special occasions a postage stamp with King Charles will be seen.
