Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu
Amidst the war between Israel and Hamas, there are some forces who are eyeing the chair of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu like vultures. They have made complete fortifications to surround Netanyahu and oust him from power. At present, the Israeli Prime Minister is in greater danger from the enemies inside his country than he is from the fighters of ‘Hamas’ or from the Shia organization ‘Hezbollah’. Amidst the ongoing war with Hamas, former Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid has demanded the resignation of Benjamin Netanyahu. He has even appealed for the formation of a new government in the country under the leadership of a different Prime Minister. Not only this, efforts have also been intensified to bring a no-confidence motion in the Parliament to remove Netanyahu from power.
There would be nothing new if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu resigns amid the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas or immediately after the end of this war. In fact, if we look at the centuries-old history of Israel, Israel wins every war but its sacrifice has to be made by the representatives sitting at the top in power.

Israel and Palestine war
Yom Kippur War took away Golda Meir’s power
The first example was seen in the Yom Kippur War in 1973. The way Hamas fighters simultaneously fired more than 5 thousand rockets at Israel on September 7 and declared war, a similar attack was carried out by the Arab League in 1973. The then Prime Minister of that time, Golda Meir, had the misconception that after losing three wars, the Arab League would not even think of attacking it, but this did not happen. Arab countries launched a major attack on Israel, in which a large number of people were killed and Israel suffered huge losses. America supported Israel in this war also and Israel won this war. However, the people there never forgot the huge loss suffered by Israel in this war and Golda Meir was ousted from power in the elections held in 1974.

Menachem Begin’s chair was lost in the 1982 war
In 1982, when Menachem Begin was in power in Israel, the Israeli Defense Force attacked southern Lebanon. A large number of people were killed on both sides in the war. According to experts related to the war, Israel suffered a lot in this. More than 700 Israeli people died in the war, including majors, captains, colonels and sergeants.
In this war too, the soldiers of Southern Lebanon surrendered before the Israeli soldiers, but clouds of crisis began to loom over Menachem’s power. In the elections held in 1983, Menachem Begin was not given the chance to become Prime Minister again. In this election, his party Herut won, but to maintain public confidence, Menachem Begin was removed and Yezhak Shamir was made the Prime Minister.

The 2006 war ousted Ehud Olmert.
In 2006, there was once again a war between Israel and Lebanon. When Ehud Olmert was the Prime Minister of Israel, the Lebanese extremist organization Hezbollah started a war. There was a fierce battle between the Israeli Defense Force and Hezbollah for 34 days. A large number of people were killed from both sides. The death of innocent people gave sleepless nights to countries across the world. This fight was stopped after the intervention of the United Nations. Israel suffered such a huge loss in this war that the people of the country could never forgive their Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. After the elections, he was ousted from power and Benjamin Netanyahu took power in his place.
