Pakistan before Imran Khan Said he was ready to talk to Army Chief General Asim Munir for the betterment of the country, Imran discussed with reporters at his Zaman Park in Lahore, he talked about politics, his relations with the army, retired army chief Qamar Javed Bajwa Spoke to reporters about his frustration and court hearing. Imran said that he never had any quarrel with the government, he further said that General Bajwa had backstabbed me. Imran said that even after losing his government, he spoke to General Bajwa for the betterment of the country, but it was General Bajwa who wanted to crush me.
He said that if someone thinks that I will bend my knees, then it cannot happen. Imran also criticized the retired general for “giving a speech against Russia” and demanded that he be court martialed for this speech. Imran said that I am still ready to talk to the government for the good of the country, but if no one is ready to talk, then what can I do. He said that the current army chief is considering me as his enemy.
Imran gave this challenge to the current army chief
He then challenged the current army chief to prove any corruption case against him and his wife. On the other hand, former Chief Minister of Punjab Parvez Elahi, who recently quit PML-Q and joined PTI, said that there is a lack of understanding of politics in the ruling establishment. Imran said that now we have to show him loyalty. He said that he cannot cheat anyone.
Demanded internal military inquiry against Bajwa
Commenting on the alleged threats to his life, the former prime minister said a video recording of him was being kept abroad. Referring to the recording, he said that according to him, the names of the “conspirators” were included. He had said that if anything happened to him, it would be made public. Imran had recently demanded an internal military inquiry against General Bajwa in an interview with Voice of America Urdu. At one point in today’s conversation, Imran revealed why he chose to travel to Islamabad by road for the court hearing.
‘Foreign Pakistanis were also on their side’
He said that he had come to know that there was a plan to arrest him at the airport and take him to Balochistan. Imran said, ‘I am in danger from those who are going to protect me. Imran also told reporters that if general elections are held simultaneously, money will be saved. The PTI chairman highlighted that overseas Pakistanis were also on their side.
