Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan
Fierce violence took place in Pakistan on 9th May. Houses, shops were set on fire. Security forces were targeted. Even the army headquarters was attacked. Actually, this violence was done by PTI supporters because former PM Imran Khan had to go to jail in corruption case. The violence had increased so much that the picture of burning Pakistan reached the whole world. Now a Pakistani court has issued a non-bailable warrant regarding this violence.
Lahore Police had registered an FIR against Imran Khan and several PTI leaders. They are accused of setting fire to the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) party office and a container. A court official said that Justice Abel Gul Khan of ATC (Anti Terrorist Court) Lahore has issued non-bailable warrants against PTI chief Imran Khan and six other leaders of his party in two cases of arson. He told that the arrest of Imran Khan is possible. In these cases, they can be produced in the court.

At the same time, the Pakistan Punjab province government told that no order has yet come from above for the arrest of the former PM. Apart from Imran, his nephew Hasan Niazi, former ministers Hammad Azhar, Murad Saeed and Jamshed Iqbal Cheema, Musarrat Cheema and Mian Aslam Iqbal are included. Imran Khan questioned in a tweet on Tuesday that why no investigation has been done so far if government establishments were attacked. He said that 16 unarmed protesters were shot dead by our security forces. While it was said that this was done in retaliation. But if the protesters opened fire on the police then why no policeman was injured.?
