Brahmaviharidas also unveiled symbolism in the design of the temple. Decorated with seven pinnacles, this temple symbolizes gratitude towards the unity of the seven emirates, reflecting the cordial relations between India and the UAE. The seven minarets also pay homage to seven important deities, underscoring the interconnectedness of cultures and religions.
unification of ancient civilizations
Apart from being a place of worship, the BAPS Temple in Abu Dhabi is positioned as a center of Hindu values and cultural celebration. He said the integration of ancient civilizations around the world sets it apart as a symbol of global unity and understanding. Sadhu Brahmaviharidas said that therefore the temple is not just a place of worship, it is a place of values. And I think you all have appreciated that this is probably the only place of worship that includes ancient civilizations.
He said that we have installed 300 sensors at almost every level of the temple. It is the first traditional stone temple to have scientific sensors, load sensors that measure pressure, temperature, speed. If an earthquake occurs anywhere in this area, the temple will detect it. And we will be able to study the mechanics of the entire monument.
