As soon as Fawad saw the policemen coming towards him, he got out of his car and ran inside the Fawad High Court premises. The surprising thing here is that the police tried to arrest Fawad even after getting bail from the High Court.
Actually Fawad has said in the High Court during his bail that he has not violated Section 144 and he did not participate in the protests. Earlier, the Islamabad High Court declared the arrest of PTI leaders Fawad, Shireen Mazari and Senator Falak Naz as illegal under Act 3 of the Maintenance of Public Order.
The order to release PTI leaders has been issued by the court of Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb while hearing different petitions. During the hearing of Fawad Chaudhary, Barrister Jahangir Jadoon appeared before the bench on his behalf.
He sought permission to place some facts before the court. During this, he told the court that the copy of the court order was neither given to the IG office nor to the law officers.
