Mocha wreaked havoc in Myanmar, 145 killed so far
Cyclone Mocha: Myanmar 145 people have died so far due to the devastation caused by the cyclonic storm Mocha that came in the US last week. 1.5 lakh houses were heavily damaged. Apart from this, lakhs of people were affected by this storm. The United Nations called it one of the most powerful storms of the century. The UN said that about 8 lakh people have been affected by Cyclone Mocha.
The army runs the government in Myanmar. The army-run government said the Rohingya minority community suffered the most from last Sunday’s cyclone. The junta had earlier put the death toll at 21, but local residents told the BBC that at least 40 people had died as a result of Cyclone Mocha.

The wind blew at a speed of 209 in Rakhine province
It was told in the media report that Rakhine province was most affected by the cyclonic storm Mocha. The death toll is highest here. Due to Mocha, Rakhine province had strong winds blowing at a speed of 209 km/h. Many houses were destroyed. Last Sunday, Cyclone Mocha, which formed in the Bay of Bengal, knocked in Rakhine province of Bangladesh and Myanmar.
