Meanwhile, a big statement from the head of Hamas has come out. According to Hamas Chief Ismail Haniyeh, the Palestinian terrorist group is close to a ceasefire agreement with Israel. He said the group has given its response to the Qatari mediators.
Ismail Haniyeh said that at present there is no information about the conditions and rules under which this ceasefire will be held. He said that on Monday, US President Joe Biden had said that he believed that an agreement would be reached between the two soon. White House spokesperson John Kirby had said about an agreement to ensure the release of hostages kept in Gaza and to stop this war. Ismail Haniyeh said that now we have come closer to that agreement.

Negotiations ongoing for the release of hostages
According to the information, talks have been going on for several days to release the hostages. Qatari mediators were seeking an agreement for Hamas and Israel to release 50 hostages in exchange for a three-day ceasefire that would allow emergency aid to Gaza civilians. Israel’s Ambassador to America, Michael Herzog, says that there is hope that an agreement can be reached in the coming days.
‘October 7 attack is the deadliest day in history’
However, White House Deputy National Security Advisor John Finer also said that this is a very sensitive issue and often these talks fail at the last moment. He said that unless there is agreement on all things, it becomes difficult to reach a compromise. He said that the incident of October 7 was the deadliest day in the history of Israel. Which instigated Israel to attack Palestine.
