Canada Admission Scandal: Indian immigration agent Brijesh Mishra has been arrested. It was Mishra who got hundreds of students admitted in Canadian colleges on fake documents. He was missing since it was revealed. Hundreds of students from Punjab and other Indian states are facing deportation due to the alleged fake college admit card scam.
According to media reports, the Canada Border Services Agency took action against Brijesh Mishra on Friday. Mishra was running an immigration agency in Jalandhar, Punjab. Surprisingly, he does not have any license for immigration advice and counseling. Mishra had also advised Indian students to hide their basic information.

Brijesh Mishra was trying to enter Canada illegally. The agency engaged in Canada Border Security caught him. He was interrogated, and then he was arrested. He was in the agency’s custody till Friday. Later, he was accused of giving fake documents to the students and getting those students admitted in Canada on the same fake documents. The news of admission on fake documents in India-Canada has given rise to many questions.
Canadian colleges found documents fake
Several colleges in Canada have decided to expel hundreds of students after their fake documents case came to light. This was also revealed when the students completed their course and then applied for post graduation. However, the border authority caught the theft and then found out that he had enrolled on fake documents. On the other hand, the students who were victims of this incident are saying that they did not know anything about it. Meanwhile, Canadian Immigration Minister Sean Fraser had said that the students who were tricked by Mishra and others like him would not be deported.
