Joe Biden Attack On Syria
There is a constant danger of the Israel-Hamas war becoming a regional dispute. There have been dozens of attacks on American military bases in the past few days. Meanwhile, America has carried out an airstrike on a base linked to Iran-backed militia in eastern Syria. The Iranian Army has also bombed positions associated with the Revolutionary Guard. The US Air Force attacked with two F-15 fighter jets. These attacks have been carried out in response to the increasing number of attacks on US military bases in the region over the past several weeks.
American officials say that at least 40 such attacks have been carried out since October 17. This is the second time in two weeks that America has attacked targets used by Iran-backed armed groups. Amidst the Israel-Hamas war, it has been seen that rocket and missile attacks have been carried out on US military bases in Syria-Iraq. Dozens of American Army soldiers have also been injured in these attacks. In the attacks so far, the Pentagon said that 45 army personnel were injured.

Iran’s support to armed groups
Many armed groups were working under the umbrella of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard. This attack has been carried out in response to the increasing number of attacks on US military bases in the region over the past several weeks. An American official says, ‘The first priority of the American President is to ensure the safety of his citizens and their rights. With today’s action he gave a clear direction that America will protect itself, its personnel and its interests.

America is being opposed in Syria and Iraq
This attack by America has worked to reduce the power of Iranian-backed armed groups to attack American citizens settled in Iraq and Syria. Many of their weapons and ammunition were destroyed in this attack. In fact, there has been opposition to America’s military presence in Middle East countries like Syria and Iraq. American bases have been targeted since the Israeli war. Be it Hezbollah or Yemen’s Houthis, they have become a headache for America because of Iran’s support.
