French Strikes: capital of france Paris There is a lot of filth in me these days. Let us tell you that more than 7000 tonnes of garbage has been put on the roads in a week. Let us tell you that apart from Paris, there is a pile of garbage everywhere in the cities near it. According to media reports, this strike is about the new pension scheme in France and increasing the retirement age. Actually, the French government is going to bring a new pension scheme. Due to which the retirement age of the scavengers is being increased. Due to this, the people of France have been protesting for the last 2 months. Thousands of scavengers are involved in this protest.
At present, the retirement age of the scavengers who lift the garbage is 57 years. Whereas the age of sewer cleaners is 52 years. If the French government brings this scheme, then the employees there will have to work for two more years. Which means that the sweepers will have to work till the age of 59 years while the sewer cleaners will have to work till the age of 54 years.

Angry sweepers stopped work
The scavengers say that this will affect them for the rest of their lives. Angered by this, the workers of the city of France have refused to go to work in many cities. According to a media report, the scavengers stay inside the sewer for about 4 to 5 hours a day, due to which they have to face the danger of gas released during cleaning. Because of which their chances of getting ill increase.
According to the French media, the retirement age in their country is going to increase from 62 to 64. The information will be reviewed tomorrow i.e. on March 16 by a joint committee. After that there will be final voting on this subject in both the Houses.
