Reliance Jio is now focusing in the postpaid segment. At present, its Postpaid Plans are about 33 percent cheaper than other telecom companies.

Geo: These days Reliance Jio has started following the path of Airtel. The company is now provoking prepaid customers to increase their entry level tariffs and switch to postpaid service. With this, Reliance Jio has increased its entry-level postpaid tariff plan by 50 percent.
Reliance Jio is about to discontinue its entry-level Postpaid Tariff Plan of Rs 199. It will be replaced with a standalone plan of Rs 299. Earlier, Airtel had also increased the entry-level plan for prepaid users by 57 percent. However, despite this increase, Jio’s Family Plans will be beneficial for the users.
Jio Postpaid Plans
Talking about the recently launched new Postpaid Plans of Jio, it has launched plans of Rs 399 and Rs 699. Through these plans, the company is trying to increase its ARPU (Average Revenue). Along with these plans, the company is also offering 3 add-on SIM card schemes, for which every user will have to pay Rs 99.
This means that a total of four users will get the benefit of a postpaid plan. The special thing is that users can also take a free trial of these plans for one month.
Postpaid Family Plan: Rs 399 and Rs 699 plans
In both these recharge plans, Master SIM + 3 users (you and your family members) will get 75GB data and unlimited calling facility. At the same time, in the plan of Rs 699, users will get membership of Netflix and Amazon Prime separately.
How will users benefit
If you do Jio’s popular Individual Prepaid Plan, it comes for Rs 666 and its validity is 84 days. In such a situation, if a user takes a postpaid connection of Rs 399, then after adding an add-on charge of Rs 99 (99×3), the monthly expenditure will be Rs 174 per user.
Jio’s single user postpaid plan
Jio’s individual postpaid plans include Rs 299 and Rs 599 plans. The Rs 299 plan offers 30GB data, unlimited calling, unlimited SMS service. Apart from this, calling, data and SMS all three facilities are unlimited in the Rs 599 plan.
