Google and Arvind Eye Hospital came together
To work on this project, Google has joined hands with India’s famous eye care chain Arvind Eye Hospital. Together they are working on the detection of diabetic retinopathy through AI. Eyes become weak due to diabetes, in severe cases eyesight also goes away. The damage caused to the eyes by diabetes is called diabetic retinopathy.

Apart from this, a lot can be done for the identification and management of eye diseases. Google has gone a step further in terms of using AI in the healthcare sector. The search engine company will detect your skin related diseases through Google lens. Google informed in the blog that Google lens can be used for many purposes. You can detect skin disease by scanning the rash or mole.
