New Delhi: As it was reported that this time Team India will travel to England in pieces, it seems to be happening exactly the same. The players of the Indian cricket team are seen flying to London in pieces for the World Test Championship. The first group of Team India left for London in the early hours of Tuesday. However, Virat Kohli and Ashwin did not board this flight.
A total of 20 members were included in the first group of Team India to leave for London, mostly from the support staff. Indian team’s head coach Rahul Dravid was also included in the same group. Let us tell you that Team India has to assemble in London by May 30 for the final of the World Test Championship.

These players went to London with support staff
Apart from the support staff, the first group to leave for London for the final of the World Test Championship also included the players, whose teams’ journey has come to an end before the IPL playoffs. These include the names of Akshar Patel, Shardul Thakur and Mohammad Siraj.
Virat and Ashwin will fly on May 24
Virat Kohli and R. Ashwin was also a part of this team of players, but both of them can now fly on 24 May. But, medium pacer Akash Deep of Bengal, off-spinner Pulkit Narang of Delhi have left for London with the first group. The role of these two will be of net bowler with the team there.
Umesh Yadav, who played for Kolkata Knight Riders, was injured during IPL 2023, but he is now fit and ready to go to London. It was believed that he too had to go to London along with the first group. But now they will also leave later. It is possible that along with Umesh, Rajasthan’s left arm pacer Aniket Chowdhary and Andhra’s left arm pacer Prithvi Raj Yara will also go to London.
Team India will assemble in London on May 30
IPL 2023 will end on May 28, after which the remaining players will also fly to England. Indian players have to assemble in London by May 30, after which preparations for the final of the World Test Championship will begin.
