Team India’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya is out of the World Cup-2023. He is out of the tournament due to injury. He was injured while bowling in the match against Bangladesh. In place of Hardik, fast bowler Prasidh Krishna has been included in the squad. Hardik Pandya has given his first reaction after being out of the tournament. Hardik is sad to be out of the World Cup, although he has said that he will remain with the team with full spirit.
Hardik Pandya wrote on social media, it is difficult to digest the fact that I will not be able to play in the remaining matches of the World Cup. Suryakumar got a place in the playing 11
After getting injured in the match against Bangladesh, Hardik did not play in the matches against New Zealand, England and Sri Lanka. In his place, Suryakumar Yadav was included in the playing 11. Surya played an important inning of 49 runs against England. However, he could not perform against Sri Lanka. Hardik’s exit is a big blow for Team India. Hardik bats at number six and gives the captain the option of the sixth bowler.
However, Hardik’s injury has not affected the performance of Team India. Team India has played 7 matches in the tournament and won all of them. He has 14 points and is at first place in the points table. Team India has confirmed its place in the semi-finals.
Krishna’s chances of playing are less
Prasidh Krishna has been included in the team in place of Hardik. Although the chances of him getting a place in the playing 11 are less. Shami, Siraj and Bumrah are already in the team. All three bowled dangerously against Sri Lanka and led Team India to a huge victory. Krishna was a part of the team in the ODI series played against Australia before the World Cup. He has taken 29 wickets in One Day International.
