Cape Town: The decider of the series starts on Tuesday between South Africa and India at Newlands in Cape Town. Ahead of playing his 50th Test match, fast bowler Kagiso Rabada believes that he will try his best to give his 100 per cent in this match which knows no boundaries. Rabada said on Cricket South Africa’s official website, “I will focus on doing my best in a decisive match and don’t want to do it for one match or less time, rather I want to take this performance for a long time.” “
In 49 Tests so far, Rabada has taken 229 wickets at an average of 22.57, including ten five-wicket hauls.
Rabada said, “I think it is very special. I didn’t even know how many matches I was in and it was only after the last Test match that it was known that this will be my 50th match. It is something special for me. I’ve always wanted to represent my country, so it’s definitely a stepping stone to success for me.”
Since debuting in Test cricket against India in Mohali in 2015, Rabada has become a key player in South Africa’s bowling attack. Talking about his journey, he said that it has not been an easy journey, as there have been many ups and downs, it has definitely been challenging to continue the good performance over a long period of time.”
