Shahzad said on Nadir Ali’s podcast, “We share mutual respect for each other. He has been kind (to help me) whenever I needed any advice regarding cricket. I respect him a lot as a player. He has changed himself dramatically. When he came on the field during the Under-19 World Cup, he was a bit fat. But the way he has transformed himself not just in the cricketing aspect is commendable. He took India to new heights in Test cricket. I haven’t seen anyone who adapted so quickly. I think his best is yet to come.”
