‘When we lose, we say we eat biryani but…’ Iftikhar Ahmed’s statement on Pakistan’s poor performance

Pakistan cricket team’s hopes of reaching the World Cup semi-finals are alive, its next match will be with New Zealand in which with a big win it will push New Zealand down in the points table. Before this match, first Pakistan registered a good win against Bangladesh in Kolkata. There the team was also in the news because of Biryani, in fact the news came that in Kolkata the team refused to eat at the hotel and ordered biryani online. Not only there but even before this, the news of the team and their biryani food keeps spreading on social media, although there is no harm in it, but after the poor performance of the team, they started making fun of their food on social media. Regarding all this, Iftikhar Ahmed, who was part of the Pakistan team in the World Cup, said that why do we say that we eat biryani only when we lose.

Iftikhar Ahmed while talking to the media said, “If Pakistan team wins, then why don’t these people say that they eat biryani. Why do people say that they eat biryani when they lose? You guys answer all this. “Is the reason for losing because we eat biryani?”

After this, Iftikhar Ahmed said jokingly, “This is a profession and if someone who eats biryani does such work which brings bad name to the country, then we are against that also.”
