New Delhi: Taking a big step, the Indian Olympic Association has changed the dates of the Wrestling Federation of India elections. Earlier these elections were to be held on July 6 but now its new date has been changed to July 11. Means the election of WFI has been postponed for the next 5 days.
Now the question is why did the Indian Olympic Association ie IOA do this? So behind his move are ba 5 states, whose membership is invalid. Those who have not got recognition from WFI. The IOA decided to extend the dates of these elections after hearing the arguments of Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana.

Why were the WFI election dates extended?
The next question is, after hearing the arguments, what happened that forced the IOA to extend the election dates? So after listening to the arguments of all the 5 invalid states, IOA accepted that the decision of WFI to cancel their recognition was correct. But he needs some time to take his stand on this. And, this is the reason why the election dates have been extended.
Elections will be held on July 11, the decision on the new president will also be taken on the same day.
The IOA panel heard the arguments of these five states on 21 June. Representatives of all these states appeared before the three-member committee headed by retired High Court judge MM Kumar. After this whole process, it was decided that the elections of Wrestling Federation of India will not be held on July 6 but on July 11. The results of the elections will also be out on this day. That means the new president will also be stamped.
