The bowlers of Team India did not allow the visiting team to score big and piled on the visiting team for 188 runs. But India had a lot of trouble in achieving this goal. In his next over i.e. in the 20th over, Stoinis gave the fifth blow to India by dismissing Pandya. Pandya returned to the pavilion on the second ball of this over. Facing 31 balls, he scored 25 runs with the help of three fours and a six. Pandya was captaining the team in this match as Rohit Sharma did not play in the first ODI.
