Hyderabad: The journey of Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2023 is about to end. The team is already out of the tournament. Despite the presence of many excellent players, Aiden Markram’s team could not leave any impact. The team has changed players several times and one of them is Umran Malik, who could not make a comeback after being dropped from the team. Now Captain Markram has given such a shocking statement, due to which questions are bound to be raised on the management of Sunrisers.
Umran Malik did not get a chance in Hyderabad’s playing XI in the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore at his home ground on Thursday. Umran, who was hit due to his stormy pace bowling, has not played any match since April 29 this season.
Captain Markram also does not know the condition
Umran did not return against Bangalore as well and during the toss, when captain Aiden Markram was talked about this, he was surprised by his statement. Markram praised Umran and described his speed of 150 kilometers per hour as the X-factor but at the same time said that he is completely unaware of what is happening to him behind the scenes.
It is still not clear whether Umran has suffered any kind of injury or he is not getting a chance in the team just because of his performance. Warner was in bad condition
In the last few seasons, the issue of treatment of star players in Hyderabad has been coming to the fore. The biggest example of this is in the form of former captain David Warner. Due to the poor performance of the team in the 2021 season, earlier Warner was removed from the captaincy in the middle of the season. Then he was dropped from the team.
