Recently a video of Haris is going viral. In which he is saying about the India-Pakistan conflict that this is cricket, not a war, should I fight?
During a press conference at an event in Pakistan, Haris Rauf was asked that, “Now in India-Pak matches, the aggression which earlier fast bowlers used to do is not seen like before.” On this question, Rauf said, “So why should I fight with them, they are playing cricket, there is a little war going on. There is definitely aggression. Whether others believe it or not, we believe that we are the best team. We will give our best. We don’t care whether people believe you or not.”
Fast bowlers Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf were injured in the India vs Pakistan match played in the Super-4 stage of the Asia Cup. After this, both the bowlers were not included in the match against Sri Lanka. While declaring the World Team, Naseem has not been included in it, whereas Haris is a part of the team. During this, when Haris was asked about his fitness, he said, “I am absolutely fine.”
India and Pakistan will now face each other in the World Cup.
