The bowling action of USA Cricket Team fast bowler Kyle Phillip was found to be Illegal Fast Bowling Action. The bowler has been banned from bowling in international cricket. He is part of the squad for the ongoing ODI World Cup Qualifiers in Zimbabwe.
Philip was playing in the World Cup qualifiers, he started well. In the first match played against the West Indies, this American fast bowler took 3 wickets. The match officials then deemed Kyle’s bowling illegal and reported it. The ICC Events Panel later confirmed this and declared the 26-year-old bowler’s action illegal.
He was immediately banned from bowling in international cricket after being found to have bowled illegally as per Article 6.7. There will be suspension on him till he proves his action legal.
Let us tell you that the USA cricket team has played 3 matches in the World Cup qualifiers. This team has had to face defeat in all the three matches. USA, included in Group A, are at the bottom of the points table.
