Ball hit the bat, took the review
There is a rule to take review in cricket. That is, if you are not happy with the decision of the umpire, then you can take a review against it. But Bangladesh had one of the worst reviews in cricket history in this match. The 48th over of England’s innings was going on. Taskin Ahmed was the bowler. Taskin bowled the ball yorker. Adil Rashid was the front batsman. The ball was a yorker which was defended by Rashid. It was clearly known that the ball had hit his bat but the Bangladeshi bowler appealed and when the umpire did not give out, he asked Bangladeshi captain Tamim Iqbal to take a review, which he did.
But it was of no use as the ball had clearly hit his bat and hence the review which had to go, went. But this decision of Bangladesh is making a lot of fun on social media.
