After settling the Test and ODI series against Australia, Indian players are currently busy preparing for IPL 2023. The 16th season of T20 League is starting in Ahmedabad from 31st March, which will run till 28th May. International cricket will return after these two months. Team India will be very busy after this as some more matches have been added to its schedule.
After IPL 2023, however, the entire focus of the Indian team will be on the World Test Championship final, where it will face Australia. The final match of WTC will be played from June 7 to 11 (June 12 extra day) at the Oval ground in London. Immediately after this final, Team India will be busy in other matches without any rest.

ODI series after WTC final
A report in Cricbuzz has claimed that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is making efforts to organize a short ODI series in the month of June itself, immediately after this final. In view of the preparations for the ODI World Cup to be held in October-November, the Indian board wants to organize this series. For this, he is in talks with boards like Sri Lanka and Afghanistan, but no final decision has been taken so far. This can be a three match series.
Two extra matches in West Indies
Not only this ODI series, but after this, India will have to play some additional matches in the West Indies tour in July-August. An agreement has been made between BCCI and Cricket West Indies regarding this but it has not been officially announced yet. It has been told in the report that Team India will play two additional T20 matches in this tour. As per the already decided schedule, India has to start the tour with two Test matches, which will be followed by 3 ODIs. Then 3 T20 matches are to be played, in which now 2 more matches have been added. That is, Team India will play a total of 10 matches on the Caribbean tour.
