    Star Sports Controversy: Shirtless photo of Shubman Gill-Virat Kohli shown to Mayanti Langer, asked questions and created ruckus

    New Delhi: Star Sports, the broadcaster channel of IPL-2023, is currently embroiled in controversies on social media. The reason for this is the pre-show before the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Thursday. Something had happened in this show that the current female anchors in the show including Mayanti Langer were all looking a bit uncomfortable. The anchor in this show was Jatin Sapru and he was accompanied by Bollywood actor Vidyut Jammwal.

    Jatin and Vidyut were hosting this show in a way and four women were sitting in front of them. Pictures of cricketers were being shown to all four on the existing screen on the side. It was only here that something happened that made the female anchors uncomfortable. Mayanti is the wife of former India cricketer Stuart Binny and daughter-in-law of current BCCI president Roger Binny.

    Actually these women were being shown pictures of cricketers in which they were shirtless. By showing the pictures, the female anchors were being asked that according to them whose body is hot and whose is not. During this, the female anchors appeared a bit uncomfortable. It had photos of Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli and Andre Russell. Although the female anchors were answering but she looked a bit uncomfortable.

    In this, especially Mayanti Langer appeared most uncomfortable. When Gill’s photo surfaced, Mayanti lowered her eyes in shame and put her hand on her head and then turned away. She started laughing again.

    Ruckus on social media

    Seeing this show, Star Sports is getting angry on social media. Many people are saying that this is a cricket show or something else. Some people are saying that Star Sports has stooped to a low level to woo the audience. Star Sports is being targeted by people on social media and people are fiercely questioning the show and calling it ridiculous.
