New Delhi: Friendship is a wonderful thing. And, if the friendship in that too is of childhood, then what to say? He has his own fun. Or should we say that where else is the fun that is in it? In such a situation how can anyone forget him. But Shubman Gill did not agree. He forgot the childhood friendship, just because he could fulfill his promise.
Now you must be wondering what is the connection between this childhood friendship and Shubman Gill’s promise? So the connection is not very direct, but a part of it is definitely connected to it. Shubman Gill had promised to score a century, which he fulfilled. And, in the process of doing this, when faced with his own childhood friend, he also sent his ball on an air journey.

Shubman Gill forgot childhood friendship!
We are talking about Shubman Gill and his childhood friend as well as Abhishek Sharma, the opening partner of the Punjab team in domestic T20 cricket. Shubman Gill told in the post match presentation that I had told Abhishek that if he comes to bowl, he will hit me for sixes. And, when he came, I did the same.
Promise made on 7th May fulfilled on 15th May
Shubman Gill playing from Gujarat Titans did this because he was on a mission. He had the passion to fulfill his promise. The promise which he made on 7th May was fulfilled on 15th May.
Shubman Gill remained unbeaten after scoring 94 runs in the match against Lucknow Super Giants on 7th May. Then he was asked whether he regrets not being able to complete the century? On this Gill said that not at all. There are still 5-6 matches left, I will try my best to score a century in them.
Gill fulfilled what he had said after the match against Lucknow against Sunrisers Hyderabad. The amazing thing is that this is his first IPL century and has come against the team against which he made his debut in this league.
Forgot friendship in the 12th over!… Century in the 17th over
Shubman Gill hit a six on the third ball of the 12th over against his childhood friend and SRH playing Abhishek Sharma and completed his century against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 17th over.
