Hyderabad: Sunrisers Hyderabad had to face defeat at their home on Saturday. Lucknow Super Giants has handed over this necklace to him. Lucknow defeated Hyderabad by seven wickets. Prerak Mankad, playing his third IPL match, played an important role in his victory. Prerek played a brilliant inning in this match and won his team. He scored a half-century, which is his first half-century in IPL.
In this match, Prerak scored an unbeaten 64 off 45 balls with the help of seven fours and two sixes. On the basis of his innings, Lucknow, which seemed to be losing for a time, won and Hyderabad came close to victory and remained bereft.

Lucknow did not get a good start. He lost Kyle Meyers early. A stormy batsman like Meyers could score only two runs after facing 14 balls. Glenn Phillips got him caught by Aiden Markram. Markram took a brilliant catch at his mid-on. But after that Prerak kept his feet and batted comfortably. He made the innings without taking any kind of risk. He shared a 42-run partnership with Quinton Dickock (29). Dickock was dismissed by Mayank Markandeya.
After this, Prerak got the support of Marcus Stoinis and together they brought Lucknow on the way to victory. Together these two scored 73 runs in 43 balls. Prerak completed his half-century by taking one run on the fourth ball of the 15th over. Stoinis was out but Prerak along with Nicholas Pooran led the team to victory. Nicholas scored an unbeaten 44 off 13 balls in a blistering fashion. He hit three fours and four sixes in his innings.

debuted last season
Prerak made his IPL debut last season. He made his IPL debut from Lucknow itself but this team played him only one match. In this one match, Prerak scored just four runs. This season also Prerak got a chance to bat against Sunrisers. He could not come to bat against Gujarat Titans. That is, if seen, he scored the first half-century in the second innings.
Prerak, however, is a well-known name in domestic cricket. He plays for Saurashtra. Prerak has played 56 first class matches in which he has scored 2006 runs. His name includes one century and 14 half-centuries. In List-A, he has scored 1535 runs in 53 matches.
