New Delhi: Punjab Kings opener Prabhsimran Singh scored a century against Delhi Capitals in IPL-2023. This is his first IPL century. He completed the century in 61 balls. This century of Prabhsimran is the fifth century of this season of IPL. Before him Harry Brook, Venkatesh Iyer, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Suryakumar Yadav have scored centuries.
Prabhsimran Singh is the fourth Indian to score a century this season. He is the second uncapped player to score a century this season. Before him, Yashasvi Jaiswal of Rajasthan Royals has done this work. He played an inning of 103 runs in 65 balls. Mukesh Kumap bowled him on the second ball of the 19th over.

Delhi captain David Warner won the toss in this match and called Punjab to bat. However, the Punjab team could not get off to a good start. Captain Shikhar Dhawan (7) was dismissed by Ishant Sharma. Prabhsimran Singh completed his first IPL century by hitting a four on the fourth ball of the 18th over. But then in the 19th over, he got bowled while playing the scoop off Mukesh Kumar’s ball on the second ball.

Punjab scored 167 runs
In this match, Punjab scored 167 runs by losing seven wickets against Delhi Capitals. Of this, Prabhsimran Singh alone had 103 runs. Apart from him, Sam Karan scored 20 runs. Apart from these two, Sikandar Raza could also reach double digits. No other batsman could set foot on the wicket. Ishant took two wickets for Delhi.
