Pitch not ready for WTC final, photo surfaced, India vs Australia final to be played from June 7

The final of the ICC World Test Championship will be played between India and Australia (IND vs AUS 2023) from June 7 to June 11 at The Oval in London (ICC Test Championship final venue 2023). There are about 20 days left for the final but the pitch (The Oval London Pitch) is not ready. Its photo has come to the fore, in which it is clearly known that the pitch is far from being made, yet the pitch is not even visible.

India and Australia have made it to the finals of the second edition of the World Test Championship. Last year there was a final between India and New Zealand, where India got disappointed. Soon after the IPL, the Indian players will leave for England, where the Australian team will already be present. The final will be played from June 7. There are still about 20 days left, but in the photo that has come of the pitch, it is visible that the work on the pitch may not have been started.

Pitch not ready for WTC Final

WTC Final 2023 will be played at The Oval. A user named Michael Jacobs associated with ECB shared the latest photo of the ground on social media today. The pitch and the rope around it are visible in the photo. It can be seen that there is a lot of grass on the pitch and ground. Perhaps the preparation of the pitch for the final has not even started yet. Although it is possible that its preparation will start in the coming few days.
