Shahzeb Khan broke the limits of bad batting! (PC-Shahzeb Khan Instagram)
Team India has made it to the final of the ICC Under-19 World Cup, but Pakistan’s situation became tight in the second semi-final. Pakistani batsmen failed miserably against Australia, especially their top order. The worst thing for Pakistan was the flop of Shahzeb Khan who was in amazing form in this tournament but in the semi-finals he could score only 4 runs in 30 balls. Let us tell you that something happened to Shahzeb in the semi-finals which no one expected.
Shahzeb failed miserably
Shahzeb Khan failed in the semi-finals but before getting out, the Australian bowler did amazing sledging with him. Australian fast bowler Callum Vidler continuously used bouncers against Shahzeb. The left-handed batsman looked quite uncomfortable against this ball. After this, Vidler signaled Shahzeb to hit the ball on his head. After this the same bowler took the wicket of Shahzeb.

Shahzeb Khan was out while trying to drive on Vidler’s ball. Hugh Webgan took a brilliant catch at backward point. Shahzeb Khan’s strike rate was only 13.33. Due to Shahzeb’s slow innings, there was a lot of pressure on Pakistani batting. The Pakistani team could score only 79 runs in 28 overs and five of its players were also out. Shamil Hussain was out after scoring 17 runs. Captain Saad Baig could score only 3 runs. Ahmed Hasan could score only 4 runs and Haroon Arshad could score only 8 runs.
Shahzeb Khan’s performance in the World Cup was good. This player managed to score 260 runs in five matches at an average of 65. But the strike rate of this player was less than 70 which is really surprising. However, many technical flaws were also seen in Shahzeb’s batting. Instead of coming on the front foot, this player was seen more on the back foot. Maybe this is happening because of the South African pitches but it is also true that if this continues then the career of this young batsman will not go much further.
