Pakistan wants to play IND vs PAK bilateral series, PCB Chief proposed
Bilateral series is not played between India and Pakistan. Both the teams face each other only in ICC or any big event. Pakistan has currently come to India for the World Cup starting from October 5. Earlier the team had come to India in 2016 for the T20 World Cup. BCCI officials have made statements on several occasions that it does not want to play bilateral series with Pakistan. Once again the PCB Chief has made a proposal regarding a bilateral series between the two countries.
Chief of Pakistan Cricket Board has offered Gandhi Jinnah Trophy. This is like the Ashes series played between Australia and England. In a show, PCB Chief said that both the countries can play series and tour each other’s country.
Ashraf said, “Like Pakistan, India is also a cricketing country. I say that there is no bigger match than the match between India and Pakistan. Ashes matches are nothing compared to India Pakistan matches. I had proposed to India to organize the Gandhi Jinnah Trophy, with both countries hosting it by turns.

But due to increasing terrorism in Pakistan and India’s loss due to it, BCCI had decided not to play with Pakistan. Earlier Pakistani players used to play in IPL too but now they are also banned from playing.
