Pakistan cricket team has registered a huge victory of 238 runs against Nepal. Actually, the first match of Asia Cup 2023 was played between Pakistan vs Nepal. During this, the team had scored 342 runs while batting first and won the match by 238 runs.
Nepal lost the match by 238 runs
Nepal cricket team was given a huge target of 343 runs by Pakistan. Although the team was able to score only 104 runs while chasing such a big target. Arif Shake scored 26 and Sompal Kami played the best innings of 28 runs for the team. However, apart from Gulshan Jha (13), no batsman could score above 10 runs. The team had to face a humiliating defeat in their first Asia Cup match.

These bowlers took the most wickets
Shadab Khan has taken 4 maximum wickets for Pakistan team. Apart from this, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf have taken 2-2 wickets in their name. Sompal Kami took 2 wickets for Nepal.
Pakistan had given a huge target of 342 runs
Pakistan cricket team won the toss and decided to bat first and the team scored 342 runs in 50 overs at the loss of 6 wickets. Although the start of the team was not so good and both the openers of the team returned to the pavilion cheaply. But captain Babar Azam handled the innings and scored 151 runs in 131 balls with the help of 4 sixes and 14 fours. Apart from this, Iftikhar Ahmed scored an unbeaten 109 runs in just 71 balls with the help of 4 sixes and 11 fours. Whereas Rizwan (44), Fakhar Zaman (14), Imam-ul-Haq (5), Agha Salman (5) and Shadab Khan were out after scoring runs.
