This player got the first chance
At the same time, a new player has also got a place in the team. Looking at the Indian pitches, the spinner has been brought in the team. Left-arm spinner Ben Lister has been included in the team for the first time. Lister (27) made his debut for the New Zealand A team in India last year, however had to leave the tour midway after suffering from pneumonia. On Ben’s selection, New Zealand Cricket selector Garvin Larsen said, “Early in his career, he has impressed with both the red ball and white ball playing from Auckland. After making his debut with Aces in 2017, he is the highest wicket-taker in T20 and List-A. As a left-arm spinner, his ability to swing the ball is fantastic.
