NADA Test: Ravindra Jadeja most tested Indian cricketer in 2023, 58 samples taken in 5 months
Indian cricket team’s star all-rounder Sir Ravindra Jadeja has become the first Indian player to be tested the most in the year 2023 and with this, around 58 samples have been taken in the first five months of Jadeja. In fact, according to data released by the National Anti-Doping Agency, Jadeja had given dope tests three times between January and May this year, making him the most tested cricketer during this period.
According to a recent list released by the National Anti-Doping Agency, in the first five months of this year 2023, a total of 55 male and female cricketers have tested 58 samples. However, this year the number of players sampled is expected to be much higher this year as compared to the last two years.
If the data of NADA is to be believed, in the years 2021 and 2022, 54 and 60 samples were collected from the cricketers. India captain Rohit Sharma and star batsman Virat Kohli were not tested during the first five months of 2023. Apart from this, the urine sample of T20 team captain Hardik Pandya was also taken out of competition in April.
Let us tell you that according to the NADA statistics of the last two years, in the year 2021 and 2022, Rohit Sharma became the player to take 3 different tests. Wherein Virat Kohli Virat did not have a single test in these two years. Whereas in the year 2022, about 20 Tests went for women cricketers.
