Dhoni had collaborated with Shree Enterprises in Ahmedabad Academy and they only have the rights of Dhoni’s Academy.
Former captain MS Dhoni’s childhood sports teacher and coach Keshav Ranjan said that “the aim of opening this academy is to provide the best coaching and mentoring to all the talented kids”. On the other hand, Sohail Rauf, CEO of Dhoni’s Cricket Academy, said, “Saurashtra Ranji team has been performing very well in domestic cricket for many years and the team has done very well this year as well. Our cricket academy will provide coaching and mentorship to the kids and we want our academy kids to also play for Saurashtra team”.
Former Ranji cricketer Rauf further added that “MS Dhoni’s vision is to provide best infrastructure, equipment, coach, experience to young talented kids and all these things every cricketer has to go through.
